2. If I opt to use plastics, how can I lessen the impact on the environment ?
TDPA (Totally Degradable Plastic Additive) could be added to plastic resins (such as Polypropylene – PP, Polyethylene – PE and polystyrene-PS) by manufacturers which will render the plastic degradable and ultimately, biodegradable. Once biodegradation is complete, all that remains is carbon dioxide, water and biomass (all of which are part of a normal bio-cycle).
Our Company currently offers ALL our customers the option of adding TDPA into their products. We currently use TDPA supplied by EPI (www.epi-global.com).
